Leather Bracers
Our studded leather bracers are perfect protection for shins, calves and wrists and forearm. Available in black and brown colors. The leather bracers, also called archer's guards were often used by medieval archers to protect their forearms against recoil of the bow string. Bracers were used in all ages and in all countries where bows were used. Bracers were made from leather, ivory or horn and sometimes wood. Most often, bracers were plain but sometimes they were adorned with ornate designs.
