Stage Steel Great Claymore Sword

Claymore - the word claymore comes from Scottish Gaelic meaning "very big sword". The term may refer to two types of swords where one is the large two handed one with cross hilt and to the basket-hilt broadsword that was used by the Scottish Highlanders. The two-handed, large claymore was used during the medieval times during battles between the Scottish clans and against the English. Our Scottish claymore sword by Stage Steel features blunt-edged sword blade. This kind of sword is perfect for practicing sword combat or for theatrical and SCA re-enactment. Blade is 2" wide by 44" long. Overall length: 57" (no sheath included).
