The Knights Swordbreaker Dagger 


With teeth that would chill anyone to the bone, this historical and functional dagger was carried by Knights during the Middle Ages. Its name came from its function of catching a foes sword in its teeth and with a twist disabling or breaking it. The blade of this very impressive swordbreaker dagger is 2" wide and 9-5/8" long. Overall length 16". Complete with leather sheath.

This very swift and well constructed crusader sword is hand forged from high carbon steel and is tempered over hot coals, as was done back in the middle ages. The stylish guard is the beautiful octagon pommel depicting the symbol of God: The Crusader's Cross! The grip is made of polished ebony wood. Black leather over wood sheath included.

The pommel and guard are made of solid steel.

Variations of this hunting sword style can be found in the National Museum at Munich, Germany and most closely resemble that of one in the collection of the Wallace Museum in London, England.

The unique and ornate workmanship of early hunting sabres is wonderfully recreated in this all brass hilt sword. Its origin in design is from Bayern (Southern Germany) dating around 1540. With its slightly curved serrated blade it was quite effective for hunting. This sabre boasts, a carbon steel 29-1/2" long blade and an overall length of 39". Sheath included.
