Japanese Nodachi Sword

Nodachi sword or field sword was a giant and heavy sword that was used in early times in Japan by very strong warriors. The Nodachi sword was carried with a regular sword which was about 25 percent smaller in size. The Nodachi was carried across the warrior's back with the hilt sticking above the right shoulder and the edge of the blade to the left.
