When will I receive my order?
We make every effort to ship your order within a few days of receipt (personal checks allow time to clear). Continental US shipments are usually made by UPS, other areas at our discretion. Orders with valid email addresses will receive a UPS notification email when the order is shipped. In the rare occasion that we are out of stock on an item and will not be shipping before thirty days, we will notify you and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.

How safe is my online purchase?
The Knights Edge site uses a secure shopping cart coupled with Network Solutions SiteSafe Extended Validation. These SiteSafe EV Certificates are issued only after a comprehensive verification of a business credentials which affirms that the business meets the industry's highest standards for legitimacy.

Is everything on the website in stock?
Knights Edge prides itself in the fact that we warehouse what we sell and make every effort to keep all of our items in stock. Due to the hand made nature of many of our items sometimes delays in restocking may occur. Often this is beyond our control. If this happens and an item is out of stock, we will automatically place it on backorder for you (unless you request otherwise) and we will ship to you all the other in stock items on your order without delay.

If you placed your order by credit card, be assured that you will not be charged for any unshipped items. If you have an item on backorder your credit card will be charged only when your item is ready to ship. Any prepaid check or money order backorders will be shipped immediately upon restock.

When a backordered item(s) arrives back in stock within the first 30 days of your order placement, we will automatically ship it out to you (unless you request otherwise). We will notify you by phone and/or email if an item will be out of stock longer than 30 days providing you supply us with a valid phone number and/or email address to reach you. You will have the opportunity to make changes to your order such as canceling the item or exchanging the out of stock item for something else…what ever you like. There is no fee for this service!

What if I want to return something?
You may return new, undamaged items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund less shipping/handling charges. We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (for example you received an incorrect item). Defective items must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. All returns must be accompanied by original Knights Edge sales receipt.
Returns beyond 30 days are prorated per the schedule below.

Items returned within 31-60 days in like new condition in their original packaging will receive 70% of price paid in merchandise credit.
Items returned within 61-90 days in like new condition in their original packaging will receive 50% of price paid in merchandise credit.
Items returned within 91-120 days in like new condition will receive up to 25% (at our discretion) of original price paid in merchandise credit.
Items returned in less then new condition will have credit further reduced at the discretion of Knights Edge Ltd.
Items returned that have been used; worn, broken etc. will not receive any refund or credit. Such items will only be returned to customer if customer pays the shipping cost of returning item to them.

Why was I charged sales tax?
All Illinois State customers must pay sales tax because our company is based in Illinois To be precise, if an order is shipped to an address in Illinois or picked up at our showroom we are required to collect Illinois State sales tax.

I'm not 18, can I place an order?
If you're under 18 you cannot purchase knives, swords martial arts equipment etc from us. By placing an order, you are certifying you are 18 or older.

Can I see the products in person before I buy?
If you are in the Chicago area and would like to visit, please call for an appointment to see our huge showroom.

Prices
Prices and Specifications are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities and correct pricing and description errors.

Sizes
Due to the hand made nature of many of our products, sizes and weights can and will vary.

Your purchase of KE Merchandise, by telephone, by mail, by fax, over the internet or in person, legally binds you and your heirs, assigns, transferees, and personal representatives as follows:
When you order and purchase Merchandise from KE, you represent that you are of legal age to purchase the Merchandise ordered and that the Merchandise can be purchased and owned in your country, state, county, and/or city of residence. By offering Merchandise for sale, KE does not represent or warrant that any specific purchaser may legally purchase, own or possess the Merchandise ordered. CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS!
Swords and related KE Merchandise may be dangerous, even deadly, if used improperly, negligently, and/or illegally. When you purchase Merchandise from KE, you agree that you will use the purchased merchandise in a safe and legal manner, consistent with all applicable laws, recognized safety rules, and good common sense. You further agree that you will train and supervise minors in the use of KE Merchandise and that you will take such steps as may be reasonably necessary or required by applicable law to keep KE merchandise out of the hands of minors and untrained and/or immature individuals.
When you purchase Merchandise from KE, you agree to assume all risks related to and/or arising from your ownership and or use of the Merchandise and agree to indemnify and hold KE harmless from any and all claims brought by any person or entity against KE related to and/or arising from your ownership and/or use of the Merchandise.
