Hunting Dagger - Hunting dagger (also known as: Hirschfänger or Deer Catcher) was a double-edged, stabbing dagger used to finish off game such as deer or boar. The dagger was used by German nobility during hunting parties in 18th century. The hunting dagger evolved from the hunting sword that was popular in earlier times and used by hunters on horseback. The hunting dagger measured between 20 to 30 inches in length. The dagger may still be used in present times as a part of traditional German hunting outfits.
Swordstick - Swordstick (also called a cane sword) was a cane that had a blade concealed inside. This type of concealed weapon was popular in Europe during the 18th and 19th century. Swordsticks were usually carried by the upper class as a replacement for the decorative sword carried in earlier time. Swordsticks were also popular in India where they were called Gupti. They were similar to those carried in Europe but their blades were shorter and wider.
